- Audience 1st Price: It calms the eyes. I imagine the blue of the sea is hiding beyond the trees.
- Audience 2nd Price: It’s a Fourchette Buffet. My lovely place in Yerevan. I like to go there when I’m so hungry. Everything there is very clean and very delicious and the staff is awesome.
- Audience 3rd Price: Our trip to Finnland, Äkäslompolo, the nothern lights, the mexican mask and me. A crazy moment in my life caught on camera.
- Audience 3rd Price: My work station is my home and favorite place. The place I feel more comfortable to work from.
See all submissions:
- Sitting beneath thy shadows, Contemplating thy suns, Waiting to meet thy eyes, Between the colour of the sky And the colour of the sea. Sozopol, Bulgaria
- Happiness is…
- My place in the world is in the wild Patagonia. I got to know myself there, and I think it has what everybody needs in their lives: peace and silence when we want it.
- Never underestimate the power of nature. It allows us to find our trueselves and purpose in life.
- Beautiful Beach of Kuakata. Kuakata, Barisal, Bangladesh.
- This is one of the beautiful places. Transfagarsan Romania.
- My ocean´s bed. The dreams I sail.
- Farming is the best way to develop the society. Don’t waste the foods because we can waste it in one second but it takes 3 months to grow.
- This is a selfie taken on Lakeshore Drive in New Orleans. I came here for the work, but so much more lgbt community here is a side benefit; it’s fun to be near so much blue too.
- The other Side of my happiness.
- Bei Nacht. / At Night. – I got to know this place this summer, fell in love with the atmosphere and used to hang around there for some time. This photo shows a part of an old harbour in Bremen, which was empty for a long time, until a collective of artists claimed the space and turned it into an open space of art, music, diversity, participation and openness.
- Rodriguez Pass track
- This is real porn.
- Loving each other.
- This image was shot after a storm. Kurnell, Botany Bay. Sydney, Australia.
- This is a lamp post in a Boston neighborhood called Audubon Circle, named after the American naturalist and artist who observed birds in their natural habitats. It took me months to notice the birds on all the lamp posts in the area, even though I walked by them every day on my way to class, so the photo is a good reminder for me to look for the nice details in my daily routine.
- Entangled Intimacies: Time, bodies and spaces meet in Old Delhi, India to open up a door full of possibilities and dreams.
- I belong high in the mountains, where the wind is strong, the air is thin and life is wild.
- I took this photo while taking the back way to the nature reserve in San Marcos La Laguna. I was going for a solo stroll on this particular morning, but it’s also one of my favorite places to bring a date and read queer erotica out loud to each other while looking out at Lake Atitlán and the surrounding volcanoes.
- You don’t have to look far to find a favorite place. Every community has it’s own problems. There is no perfect place to live. In the beautiful town that I live in, I love to view sunsets. No matter where you live, you can view them as well… as long you don’t miss it 🙂 I love how every sunset is unique from the rest and I would give up almost anything to just take a glance.
- This is a photo of Tiffany, my long-time friend and chosen family, that I took on my old Ricoh 35mm — my most sentimental possession, as I inherited it from my father. I wanted Tiffany to see Armenia so she could understand my relationship to the country and culture as a diasporic queer person from the SWANA region. This is both a tender and violent moment that I was glad to catch on camera.
- This picture was taken in Iceland. It’s an abandoned plane wreckage. It took us a while to walk there, but when we finally arrived it was amazing.
Thank you ALL SO MUCH for showing us your favorite place!
ALL winners receiveD a gift package from the TQU Shop.
