Giants 1

Bodies explode their outside world and provide – unique as they are – the protection space of recognition.

The installation “Giants” visualizes experience of everyday discrimination. The displayed texts describe the attempted communication with the creators of dimensionless coenaesthesia.

“Giants” talks about human bodies, their fluid size and the power structures that make them shrink or grow in appearance. Itis the feeling of dimensionless in a society that is always heterosexual, ‘healthy’, white and cis*.

Here are giants in dollhouses, buildings in which humans feel vanishing small, realities that make people invisible, that swallow them whole.
