Who’s fighting for the rights of the LGBT community in Switzerland? Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) groups & organizations range from social and support groups to organizations that are political in nature. Some groups are independent, some are more radical than others, some are aligned with other bigger umbrella or religious organizations.

LGBT Organizations Switzerland:

PINK CROSS is the Swiss Gay Federation. Bringing together 38 gay/gay and lesbian organisations, 21 companies and over 2,200 individual members, PINK CROSS represents gay men in all of Switzerland’s four linguistic communities. PINK CROSS is a non-profit organisation that is funded almost entirely by membership fees and donations. PINK CROSS’s mission is to represent gay interests in the realms of politics, administration and public opinion. Through political advocacy and an active media policy, PINK CROSS seeks equality within Swiss society for self-directed gay living. The Bern office serves as an information hub for public authorities, the media, member associations and gay people.

LGBT Families Switzerland

Dialogai focuses primarily on gay and bisexual men and has forged alliances, partnerships and instances of cooperation with all public and private services that share a postive vision on the imoprtance to put an LGBT health program in place. There is a voluntary counselling and testing clinic as well as a social services.
